Holiday parties filling up your calendar? You CAN make healthier choices at parties as long as you arm yourself with a bit of knowledge…and don’t show up totally starving! Take a few minutes to survey your options, maybe while you sip some evamor to keep your appetite in check. Some of our favorite “eat this, not that” tips are:

CHEESE – Go for hard cheeses over soft. You’ll get a calcium kick and can enjoy a piece without slathering it on a cracker.

VEGETABLES + HEALTHY DIP – Greek yogurt is a great base for a healthy dip in place of sour cream or mayo. Also try hummus or guacamole.

VEGGIE CHIPS instead of fried tortilla chips.

FRUIT – Eat with your eyes! And enjoy healthy fiber.

OLIVES – Satisfy your salty cravings with a dose of iron and vitamin E.

Opt for satisfying DARK CHOCOLATE instead of Holiday Cookies
