Alkaline Diet Plan that Helps Control Weight Gain
November 30, 2010
The pH level of a solution or compound determines whether it is acidic, neutral or alkaline. A healthy human body has an ideal pH reading of between 7.3 and 7.45, which makes it slightly alkaline. However, eating a diet rich in meats and processed foods can leave acidic residue; which can upset the natural pH levels of the body and cause a condition called acidosis. Symptoms of acidosis include headaches, fatigue, hormonal imbalance and weight gain.
